December 26th Tornado Update

Last night members of our community and association lost everything at the hands of devastating tornados. As I reflect this morning a few thoughts are hanging around I can't shake. First, I'm very thankful that most members of our community survived the outbreak. Second, Texans have a strong mental fortitude and we will rebuild in time. Third, thank you to the Collin County Sheriff's Office, Constables Pct. 1, 2, 3, and 4 for having professional and dedicated Deputies deployed to handle search/rescue and security. A special thank you to all of the local police departments that sent officers out to the scene to assist as well. In times of crisis it's important the citizens know it doesn't matter where we work on a daily basis; your Collin County law enforcement we be there for you and each other when the worst happens. God speed to those who lost their lives last night in the storm. We save who we can and God takes the rest home. Please do not travel to the effected areas of the storm. It's a dangerous and fluid environment for all involved. Security teams are present to deal with persons looking to further victimize citizens that have been effected.

Please keep these people in your prayers.
